I think people are freaking out a little too early...I saw posts that screamed "It'll be October 1st tomorrow and I don't have my watch!". The plan was to get the watches shipped during the month of October. They may or may not be able to complete them in time but even if they ship them on October 31st they'll have fulfilled their anticipated ship date. The people in the US and outside of the EU may have to wait several weeks longer for these to ship and clear customs. They could start shipping as they're produced but then people will freak out if they see that some people received theirs and they haven't gotten anything in the mail. I'm guessing they have to wait until total production is complete and then ship all at once.

Sorry don’t like the Yema watch and I’ve got 5 bronze watches which IMO are far better.
Tudor Bucherer
Tudor Bronze
Oris Carl Brashear
Lum Tec M83 (like a Panerai clone)
Lum Tec Combat (like a Zenith pilot type 20)

Curious why you find the Lum Tec Combat Bronze to be far better? It’s certainly larger at 43mm and 52mm lug to lug but the M83 and Combat are Panerai and Zenith homages with a miyota movement. The Yema looks like a Yema..

I agree - personally not a fan of the Lum Tec watches at all.

I really wanted to like the tudor bronze too and was holding out for a bronze bb58 but actually I think their bronze is weird, it almost looks like a fake bronze coating. Plus they are just too big for me, I tried it on and it looked silly!

The oris brashear on the other hand is an awesome watch!

now the question is which strap to buy. the light brown leather that i come son looks okay, but there is prolly a better choice.

-tan or yellowish light brown, copper, or dark blue fuzzy suede or suede

-19mm gold tone or two tone oyster....muhahahaha

-dark blue 1 or 2 piece nylon with thin gold stripe, ... ala tudor

-sand/khaki or dark navy seatbelt trap with gold/bronze hardware

- thin dark blue rubber

-find an eastern vendor that has some antique bronze finish mesh or other style

Mine's arriving on Monday! I got the dispatch email a few days ago whilst on holiday so was hoping it would either be waiting for me when I got back or turn up today but Monday will do!

Seen a few people on fb with quality issues so hoping all will be well....photos to follow ASAP!

I'd seen a couple of people mentioning scratches to bezel and crystal and one guy saying his was jumping around a bit time wise but seems its definitely the minority.
Mine has just arrived so photo to follow!

Got word that mine just shipped.

Scratches on a new sapphire crystal?? That sounds crazy.

I'm interested to see what the quality's like, as I've ordered a GMT but never seen one of their watches in the metal.

Now I've had it on for an hour or so I must say I can't fault it... Beautifully made and can't find an issue with the finish at all.
It's a damn nice watch and although it's currently a bit too shiny for my liking I'm really looking forward to seeing it age down over the coming weeks/months.
If I loose anymore weight I'll have to swap the strap out as I'm already on the last hole which is a bit of a shame but then I probably would have switched it out at some point anyway. The blue nato looks cool so I'll try that later on.

Looks great! Excited to see more pics and wrist shots. Big question for me is the bezel licking mechanism... so, you have to unscrew the crown in order to move the bezel, correct?

Yep it's weird to be honest. Looks cool and I sort of get how useful it could be when used properly but for a general user it is a bit strange... Once you unscrew the crown it goes loose so you can move the bezel but that means it's sort of dangling a bit whilst you set the time. Sure I'll get used to it and as I've said it looks cool but for everyday practicality (like quick setting for the parking meter etc) could actually be a bit of a pain!

Anyway, will play/experiment with it further in a bit when trying some different straps and report back!
