I recently got to take my Yema on a proper beach holiday and had great fun with it.
I also had mine at the beach recently. The case is getting a beautiful patina and the blue looks great.

Can anyone show me a pic or two of what the 41mm size looks like on a smaller wrist (say, 7" or smaller)?

Here u go, I just got this a couple days ago, my wrist is just under 7 inches, but I have quite flat wrists so this wears very well in person. I think you can’t wrong with either. The nice thing is the watch is same height regardless of diameter, and the bezel width appears to be the approx same dimensions as well, and the lug to lug is only 48mm vs 49.5 mm (not sure where people got the 52mm measurement from) so not a huge amount of difference.

The biggest difference seems to come from the watch face diameter which u can check on the Kickstarter info page. With the deepness and beauty of the blue dial, and the super interesting hands, I think you will be equally as happy either way: 39 will have a more compact vintage vibe and charm, whereas The 41 will give you more of the beautiful dial and hand details, where as the other parts seem relatively the same. It’s not like a Tudor black bay 58 vs normal black bay where the black bay seems a lot larger in comparison (I also have a black bay 58, and a few different Speedmasters including the smaller ck2998 - and I feel this watch wears just as well as those but in a different way).

I definitely recommend switching out the stock leather strap, as this will make a difference on how it feels, and suits something with a more rustic vibe.

I love my Yema Superman but found their default strap selection pretty middling. I finally found a vintage royal blue Tropic band and threw that on instead and couldn’t be happier....
