It’s a hopeless cause. I got into a PM “discussion” - yeah, let’s call it that - with the seller of these things on eBay a few months back. I politely told him that I thought that he was peddling frankens to uninformed buyers for real money and that the buyers would be very disappointed and angry if they realized that they were not buying genuine Omegas. He replied that he fully disclosed in his listings that the watches are redialed, etc. and that he is providing a valuable service to buyers who want a new looking, reliable watch with the Omega name. I guess that one person’s franken is another person’s valuable service. I suspect that Omega would not be amused.
