And let me tell you how much I enjoy your cloud photos! In Southern California, we sometimes go days without seeing a single cloud in the sky, which is sooooooo boring. I have come to crave seeing clouds since I moved here 20+ years ago.

For anyone who says the Explorer has to be 36mm, I beg to differ! I find the 39mm 214270 MK2 to be the best Explorer ever made. So happy I finally had the sense to realize it was discontinued and immediately thereafter made it my first Rolex purchase (I prefer Omega, obviously!). Cheers everyone!

I've been neglecting my Gallet chronos lately, so it's high time to give them some exposure!

Earlier today . . . Hi-rez.

Changes with the light . . .

Dial is champagne white under most lighting conditions with just a hint of mint in the luminous . . .

Lugs are so sharp on this one that one has to be careful not to cut oneself. 😉

Early 70s EP 40-68; end of the line for Gallet at the time . . .

Ah thanks. I can relate in a small way to what you speak of. In my travels I have visited some areas where clouds are not common. It did strike me as odd and even more so in extremely hot areas, no break from that intense son. Arizona, parts of Asia although I think the trade off was an amazing night sky. I was being chased by a storm on the way home when I arrived it still east of me while the west still had fluffy white groupings. Edit storm hit haven’t seen hail in a while
