After a month on the 3861 bracelet with Snoopy, I do enjoy coming back to the more old school sporty bracelet. Here’s to an early start to Speedy Tuesday!

I had the hardware store 'Watchmaker.' look at a few quartz watches I had. This one stopped a few minutes after I left the store last week. Took it back and she dusted it againg and oiled one side. I always liked the look of the dial on this. Put a new band on it (Probably more than the watch is worth.) Not really into quartz watches. The crystal could use a good polish and the case is a bit dirty. Supprised they did not want to clean them.
While they do change batteries, From what I overheard, they prefer mechanical watches to service. After me was someone in line to pick up their Rolex. I have had them service my Baylor Heuer. Doubt I would have them service any of my Omegas. I like working on those myself.

New car finally came today. I admit I don’t really like the orange trim. But the way the packages and trims worked it made more sense to buy the sport. About a week after ordering it in February. I realized I had the perfect watch for it. So wore this while picking it up today.

Congrats on the new Subaru! I hear you on the orange but if I was to buy a new one I would also definitely go ahead with the sport. Also, from one member of the Chronostop and Subaru Forester owner's club (I don't think there was a club already so we're the inaugural members lol)...Welcome!

I was thinking about doing a switcheroo to my official Kraft Cheese & Macaroni Club watch (in the background in the pics below)…but I realized I had taken the battery out and I didn’t feel like putting it back in…so wearing the 1991 Seiko 7002 continues…but now on a Rothco protective band to protect the 30 year old bezel insert…“You must take good care of your toys, Sid Phillips!”
