I'm a sucker for squares and blued steel hands.

Had considered this, three days on a single power up and on the button, not bad for something worth a couple of £

Then the remains of last nights libations wore off and went for an underdone creme brulee

Absolutely love that Timex!

Totally agree, popped it on a strap with the intention of wearing it to work (manual) quickly changed my mind as it looks to nice to trash.
Sad that such a piece has no real financial value in the watch world.

Just noticed and to those who have, thanks for not mentioning, installed a new crystal earlier today and the damn thing is upside down 🙁
A wee job for tomorrow.

Agreed. For me, Timex is the only other watch brand (as well as Omega) that I have an emotional attachment with. I was given a Timex as my first watch by my Gran when I was 6 or 7 years old, she passed away not long after, I really wish I was still in possesion of that watch. I sense a small collection of low priced Timex watches in my collection in the near future... 😉

Stingray. From the days when Swiss watches were named after American cars.

I see your SM300 and I'll raise with my vintage SM300

Well, not actually mine - I just borrowed it from a friend as I wanted to see if we're gonna get along.

Super nice. Looks good on the nato, too.

Thank you. I was really sad when I had to return it, but at least I got the chance to enjoy it for a week. For me it was also nice as I had to opportunity to see up close how things evolved:

I've strayed away from Omega today to sport this special watch with a nice glass of French Red.
