The sold one of Bachmann is the second one, I know.
It is now in Italy in the collection of a Titus Calypsomatic collector.
As you can see, the one sold by Bachmann has a small Titus logo, my has a big Titus logo on the dial.
We do not know, why there are only a small amount of these Tituscaphe.
Perhaps, Blancpain with their Bathyscaphe made some trouble?
I do not know, but they are pretty rare.

Granddaughter’s t-ball game. Unusual for me to wear the Casio two days running, but was late getting started so skipped the watch exchange routine.

Precious time , enjoy .

So I’m really diggin this. I like this style Connie better than the C-case. Took it off last night around 7p and today at 11:39a it was pretty on target with my iPhone although I haven’t tracked seconds plus minus yet. Also it’s like 90% humidity here and the dial remains condensation free. This is all pre service as my watchmaker is on vacation for three weeks. Certainly not a prime example I realize but I like it.

Not actually on my wrist today, as you will see in the images.

I was rummaging through my stash the other day, looking for a case for an 80-year old (approx.) Omega tonneau model, gent’s manual winder, for which I need a case. I offered this movement for sale about one year or so ago, and nobody took me up on it. So I am still hoping to find the case.

But while I was rummaging, I happened upon a Tissot automatic parts watch I’d forgotten I had. I knew of another Tissot in my stash as well. The one pictured was without a calendar, balance complete and balance cock gone, along with the auto wind mechanism. The other was a calendar model, complete, except it needs calendar pieces which are unavailable anywhere. 90% of the parts of these movements are completely interchangeable.

So, 1 + 1 = 1. I fitted the balance complete and balance cock, along with the auto wind mechanism from the calendar model, to the non-calendar model in the pictures. Voila! Another addition.

Everything fits, everything works, so at a future time, I’ll service it.

Okay, I’m addicted to this watch! Whenever I open the vault, and find this one showing the correct date, I wind it, photograph it, put it on, and post it here. Early 1950s Seamaster, bumper automatic, date at 6:00, calibre 355. Found it in pieces, in a tin of Omega bumper movement parts. It had been there for over 40 years, since I inherited these parts at my late father’s passing. But the pieces were all there. All except a case. An OB poster from Madrid (thanks a million @Tritium ), had an extra case, a deal was made, and voila! Here it is!

I can feel your pain...we lived in CA for 18 years and dealt with that kinda shi.......
Looks like the dude in the blue jacket's not very happy with you either.

I still live in Cali. Moved several months ago to another place in the same city. Tried to get an appointment for the DMV to update registrations and license.

It was literally impossible over the phone. And I'm not about to get onto their website. So I have to wait until this year's registration forms to come in the mail to change my address.
