I have a watch buddy at the place I get my coffee in the AM before work. I complimented his watch (invicta) several months ago and now I find he has 30 or so invictas. So the regular thing has become, get coffee, one minute of watch talk and wish each other a good day. Most of the time he politely says “cool” if I’m wearing an old omega or seiko but darn he saw this quartz tag and flipped. I had to write down all the numbers for him as all I know it’s an aqua racer I got used but he refuses to buy used (I tried to tell him tags don’t hold value well and they are pretty east to pick up cheap) then I shut my mouth because if to him this is “the watch” who am I too judge. I’m wearing it as we have been getting a lot of flash flood warnings and these monsoon like storms that come out of nowhere the past few days
I just need to point out I got a new iPhone 12. My 8 plus was fine but my battery life was becoming too short and it can literally be dangerous for me not to have a reliable phone as on occasion I’ve dealt with some life threatening emergencies. However I got this case that covers the back and front of the phone it appears going the cheap case route wasn’t the best as the plastic holes covering the camera lens are making me photos look blurry. Since 99% of my photos are those of animals and watches it’s not the end of the world but I may need to find a better case

Planet Ocean 43.5 on a waterproof Hirsch. I had to shed about 100 grams today or I would sink to the bottom.
