Well, what I can tell you is that It is latest buy.
That it belonged to a Pierre D… and that it was a gift, probably from his parents but it could also have been his mistress.
The dial is signed « Suisse » and it does not have the typical medal inner case back.
The bow is 18k gold too.
It is 51,8 mm. in diameter and weighs 91 g.
Serial number would date it to 1912-14.
Classical movement ref. 19.73.
I like very much the dial and hands layout.

Ahh, yes for my French friends the initials are : PD ,spécial dédicace à Victor O et à tous les LGBT de Budapest.

Thanks for that. Indeed an outstanding piece. It is a “pin set” model which would lead me to think it is perhaps older than the serial number indicates. And it is 18-karat, no less! Looks to have had next to no use.

The first generation Lange 1 ref. 101.025, nicknamed “Stealth”, is a watch that faithfully follows and teasingly deviates from the design principles created by the founders who resurrected the brand in the early 1990s, and would be the early production from A. Lange & Söhne to feature the platinum case with rhodium silver dial configuration.
Maybe one day, beautiful congratulations

In order to try to free myself from the plague of black dialed OP Rolexes that has had me in its thrall recently, I’ve decided to haul out a big gun.

For a short period of time, this -62 was my daily addiction.

How long will this -62 last, before it’s put away again? Not long, in all likelihood. Maybe not even until this evening.

But, I’m wearing it now.

(Three black dialed OPs are ticking away on my desk, waiting. Just biding their time and waiting.)

Third time back from my WM after its troublesome regulation problems. Hopefully 3rd time is a charm.

A gentle reminder that we leave politics aside on this forum, and that this thread is “WRUW Today,” or “What Are You Wearing Today.”
This isn’t a thread for “What is your favorite politician/actor/musician wearing today.”
Thanks!

Thanks Chief, but I did not say anything about politics. I saw an Omega Seamaster prominently displayed on national TV and I thought I’d share it. I’m aware it doesn’t exactly fit the WRUW theme, but I didn’t feel like starting a new thread. I apologize to you and to anyone who interpreted it as a political statement.
Here’s what I’m wearing today:

This funky 70s enicar today... Love that silky blue dial, some blemishes on the edge notwithstanding

Maybe you should just get rid of it. Maybe sell it to me 😀
