Thanks, interestingly it's a '40s-50s Hamilton pigskin strap (I switched the buckle to one of my Hamiltons) that I recently got in a trade of stuff with a friend. It's incredibly soft, much moreso than any recent production pigskin strap that I've seen. The dark tan contrast stitching seems to match the minute track of the dial perfectly...

Another one with a "new" strap...😉

They don't even make new production shell cordovan straps in 17mm.

This may be your biggest obscurity yet. Who? What movement? Where?

Aero Watch S.A., for a long time in Neuchâtel and reputedly a continual producer of timepieces from 1910-present, known mainly for pocket watches and pendants, also made a few wrist watches from time to time. The movement is the AS 1130, the rugged, so-called Wehrmachtswerk, known for its use in military pieces. This is the only AS 1130 I've seen labeled as a chronometre. I reckon this is from the early to mid 60's. Pretty pedestrian construction, but I dig the dial.
