Still enjoying my new to me, 52 year old Accutron 218 day-date. New crystal, gasket, cell, two spring bars, an ultrasonic cleaning of the case and bracelet was all that was needed. Running fine, but I’ll eventually clean the movement, as well. My 24th Accutron. People dump them because they can’t find anyone to service them. Lucky me!

Currently having a fun time hauling my Korean War era U.S. issued Breitling Valjoux 5 in my front shirt pocket at the office…Breitling from @Darlinboy and lanyard from @DaveK…
LATE ENTRY: Also, having a fun time wearing my AWCI build-a-watch school ETA 6497-1 flieger at the office…
Just popped in to say "hi" and..... Good to see you still rocking that Breitling! ✌🏼

1st gen(3 pushers) Cal 47, 1937 via Landeron.
Introduction of a cam switching movement in a chronograph. Rapidly evolved to a 2 pusher cal 48 the same year.
“Ancre De Precision”across the Tri-scale dial
The bracelet came with it & very cool. Appears to be of the era.

My Landeron 48 two-register chronograph behind a Bucherer dial. Gold plated “clamshell” case. I had often assumed it might be from the1960s or early 1970s. But according to the post by @TexOmega, it could by earlier. I’ve seen these basic watches with a variety of different brand names on them.
