This one today It’s a rhetorical question (and I’m not seeking enlightenment) but I really don’t understand why some disparage this model. There’s no issue about the quality of the 552 movement and, to my eye, the 50 year old case shape has a much more up to date look than many of its contemporaries. (PS. The case isn’t worn, it’s pristine, the shading is just a 'trick of the light'.)
Home from work, stormy afternoon, full of the flu and Karaoke bellowing out from across the road Time for a comfort watch
Double reference, NAAFI issued 105.012-66 and 145.012. The case and movement are really nice, the bezel has a few usage marks.
