And we’re in the same GMT-4 time zone. I set the watch to GMT with the bezel aligned at noon and quick set my local hour. Apparently we both need to know GMT at a glance when cutting the grass.

It's the AOPA decals on both sides of the mower that triggers this need 😎

Funny, my WRUW post a few days ago had my AOPA coffee mug in the background. My John Deer isn’t fast enough to earn AOPA decals. I have one on my touring bike though. Love riding to the airport.

After 10+ years of trying, I finally was able to visit Doc in person. My trips to Wichita, Kansas, are limited. Up until now, every trip there, he was out of town until now.

If only I had worn an aviator watch 🙁
