Locally cased Rolex movement from the late 40’s/early 50’s

These were the good old days when you got a gold watch when you left a job instead of lukewarm beer out of a paper cup

This may be an isolated thing to Australia but we used to have a child’s game called: “ What’s the time Mr Wolf”. Involved screaming and running. At least with this watch Mr Wolf would be certain about the time....

Nice watch, and the game was certainly played in the UK! I’m wondering if Repco Ltd is the same Repco that supplied successful engines to the Brabham F1 team in the 60’s?

This is indeed the very same Repco. Unfortunately that was its heyday. In the 21st C it has turned into an autoparts barn
