Revisiting the same location today finds no nice fluffy snow, but only sleet and ice pellets and 28F along with droopy and unhappy daffodils.
I received a technical question from a frequenter of this MB, on an Omega F300 (electronic), recently. I had to dig this one out so I could refer to it, in order to reply to him. Since I had it out of the vault, and it was on the correct day, I decided to put the Accutron Spaceview aside and give it a rest, and wear this one for a change. This watch is about 50 years old, and the gold filled case is in excellent condition, with no brass showing. The strap is a generic one made of bison hide. I quite like it. It came to me with the typical calendar malfunction (plastic date ring with chipped teeth). The owner had given up on it. I managed to find a replacement date ring from a collector in Mannheim, Germany (thanks eBay), and the watch is serviceable again.
Just put a new strap on my Waltham compliments of @Dan S this may not be the standard choice for such a watch but I’m digging it for now and appreciate the strap.
