I really like this dial, and the movement has a much nicer finish than most Val 7734s. But the case....

Just put a new strap on my Waltham compliments of @Dan S this may not be the standard choice for such a watch but I’m digging it for now and appreciate the strap.
Hey thanks for all the likes. At the moment I have 9 omegas but two will shortly be going to my wife’s family in China once the mail system gets straightened out. I don’t think I’d trust it now unless family tells me otherwise. Anyway I have a couple nice watches but I really enjoy hunting low hanging fruit like this that I don’t see frequently and really like the looks of. It’s nice I can put up a rather simple watch and it still gets appreciated even when people post watches 200 times more valuable right after mine. It’s nice shows we aren’t all watch snobs. Reddit is good about that as well but some watch forums, i won’t name them, would probably chuckle at my Waltham. I have to say though I am stunned at the condition of this. I’m not sure of the exact year but it’s in the 60’s and it looks like someone either loved it or forgot about it in a sock draw. There are a couple minor blemishes on the bezel but other than that it looks mint. If it was a Daytona it would be worth 10 gazillion dollars. Thanks, I’ve been meaning to say this and finally did, carry on.
