I sometimes think that I’m the only Certina poster on WRUW

The only Certina poster on the OB? You don’t show a Certina in you post, so I’ll show one in my reply. This was a farmer’s watch, rode hard, and put away wet. Bought for $2.00 at a farm yard sale. Most folks would have considered it a donor watch, and chucked it into a drawer, to later be stripped. I liked it, so I refinished the dial, chrome plated the case, replaced the rotor post, crystal, crown, and conditioned it. Good runner. I really like it!

So, let’s see a Certina, then! When I show a picture of that Certina, I am always careful to include all of its shortcomings in the description, so to avoid having the faults pointed out by those who might be inclined to offer an opinion. Matter of fact, I think I’ll get that one out of the vault right now, and wear it today.
