Thanks! I think the SD43 wears well too. My SubC no date felt a little small on my wide flat wrist, and I preferred my newer co-axial SMPc chronograph over the older Ti wave dial model. So, I was able to part with the 2 for a nicer watch that fits me better. I was originally looking for a Deep Blue, but the SD43 is what I found that would work with my trades. The dilemma is that I promised SWMBO I'd give up a watch to add a watch but I gave up two, and also whether I'd be willing to part with my "small" Hulk for a Deep Blue when I do find one up for a trade, because the SD43 is growing on me and fits me better than a Sub. I always sell my Submariners when they start to feel small (16800, Hulk #1, TT Blue Sub, and SubC ND).
Day 3 of the UK hellmouth being open, the PO has started to signal to its mothership it's time to leave
New arrival…a blue Pogue!!! 6130-6009 from 1974…a Skylab 4 Pogue mission year! The crown controlled inner rotating bezel is cool! It joins my other early automatic chronographs…YaY!
I make my own headphones based off the 650 and 600. Some people wanted me to make for them too, so I started to make some for them too. Search up my username in headphone sites and you'll see. Currently enjoying a modified HD800S into balanced V281. Source is Hugo TT but it's already obsolete I'm told. Agreed! Balanced really makes them swing. I got into EE just because of my interest in amps. I found that the Audeze & Hifiman are very amp dependent, which amp are you running them off? I prefer the Senns over the two though. Mrspeakers - well... the head of that company is.. quite a character... lots of controversy about him. I didn't know there were headphone people on OF. Maybe it calls for a separate thread?
Tudor GMT again, but a new pic in my valet tray with my cheapo pen from a conference a few weeks ago.
I am wholly fascinated by the dial which is out of this world. Went looking at the Bulova site hoping for a re edition.. but haven’t found anything
There was a 50th anniversary Spaceview produced as a limited edition, in 2010. You are too late for one of those, but they show up on line from private sellers. You won’t like the prices. This is a picture of the limited edition 50th anniversary re-issue.
