Well one more time for the gipper....I'd forgotten how heavy this watch is!
One of the few Rolex watches where the term "rare" can be used and is verifiable fact. Very rare.
i have (2) sg 18k; one is in unworn condition and Rolex service told me only a few hundred were made and exist. 😀 I consider these investments and not really watches... It's sort of a cowardly way of dealing with quartz lol
From what I can ascertain Rolex has only made a total of 25K OysterQuartz watches in it's entire history. They still make a Cellini Quartz today.
Rich, an investment is an investment and you won't go wrong with those two in your portfolio, worn or unworn.
Yes, yes you're completely correct.
Even the most ardent quartz haters begrudgingly admit the oysterquartz is one of the most handsome and elegant wristwatches Rolex has ever produced. You commented on the weight of the watch. Consider there's no rotor and the density of that case is even more impressive.
And, it's such a wonderfully balanced watch, isn't it?
That watch looks terrific on on your wrist. Wonderful wrist presense; I bet you receive plenty of genuine compliments on that lovely piece of artwork...
can you tell, I'm a fan? hehe
maybe it's just garden variety confirmation bias but my understanding is that many in-house Rolex workers have strong affinity for this design
wear it in good health!!
(I'm atheist, so I know he won't)
