It is a horrible thing, but now that I have a Speedmaster and a few other 38mm chronographs, along with some larger 36mm vintages watches, all my vintage 33mm Hamiltons, 28mm tanks or even the 34mm Rolex all seem too small. If a watch isn't as large as Norman's 35mm Constellation, it just seems too small. And when I first became a member here a year ago, I thought you were all just a bunch of size snobs. See what you have done to me? LOL.
1929 Elgin, nickel case, 31.2mm diameter, 35.5mm lug-to-lug, 9.4mm thick case back to top of crystal. The case is made in three pieces, but the tolerances are so tight it looks like it is machined out of a single block of metal. Keeps great time.
