Interesting, an ongoing auction with 52 bids that was ended because the watch was sold off eBay. If I had been bidding, I would not have been pleased with the seller; especially since the bids had already gone very high for this watch. But I guess that is par for the course in the eBay swamp.

Heading off for some r&r with the 5513 L serial for company.

I remember that road very well from my younger days leaving the A9 and cutting across to Bonar Bridge on the way home to Thurso many years before the new bridge crossing.
We’re heading up to Gods country next week to visit relatives in Glasgow and tour around Perthshire but won’t get as far north as Sutherland and Caithness. Enjoy your trip.
