I don't wear this much, but it has been a great watch. I don't think I have changed the time for years and it is only off by about 2 minutes (and that may be from not setting it to the right source).Eco drive and adjusts calendar for months with less than 31 days

5441 Portuguese from 1993, made to honor IWC's 125th anniversary.

It helps to see these next to other watches to "get" the size and elegance. Yes, 42mm, but only 10 mm thin. For color reference, the little elephant is 50 year old ivory.

1000 were made in SS, 500 in YG, and 250 in PT. I had the privilege of seeing a full set at a GTG a few years ago. They were stunning to see in person. Of course, I became "hooked" and had to get one...

YaY!

Love a sub dial

I always marvel at what a difference a strap change makes. Especially when you figure out those dagblasted NATO straps. 😁

20mm Zulu Diver strap from WatchGecko. Better a tiny gap than an overwide strap with bunching at the edges at the lugs. I have some 21mm straps inbound, but until then I'll use the 20's.

I would appreciate it if Omega would enlarge the sub-dials slightly, as well as the date window. There is enough room for slightly larger ones without making the dial look crowded/cluttered. Maybe that's just my 50-something year old eyes talking, but I think it would be a good look in general. Especially with only 2 sub-dials on the co-axial models.

Just chilling out with this discreet formal wear number. Super hot in UK and off for a dive. Technically not a watch. Mods delete as appropriate.

Incoming!

First wear of this relatively unknown Chronosport aviation diver.

Although it doesn't look any more 'waterproof' than the Nivada Grenchen, the track at '9' says 'NAUT', so...

Edit: If anyone can figure out the dial/bezel on this one, please let me know... Never was a slide-rule user...😵‍💫
