Lucky you to have something so lovely handed down from your Dad , wear it with pride ( which I'm sure you do already )It also could be my birth watch , I'm from March 67 also 馃憤.
Still my 45-year old caliber 1020 Seamaster day-date. Made a mistake yesterday. Drew myself a hot bath, and hopped in. Half asleep at the time. Woke up to realize this guy was still on my wrist, and had been under water for a few minutes! Wearing a watch in a shower or a tub is something I haven鈥檛 done since decades ago when I used to wear my GMT Master II in the shower, for a ritual application of a nail brush. In short, because the bath water was hot, no moisture intrusion. But I don鈥檛 plan on making this a habit.
Waiting patiently for a renewed visa to enter China in 2 weeks.
Previous passport was good until 2025 and contained a multiple entry visa good until the same. However, even though it was the extended page version I ran out of pages after just over a year of use.
