First born just commented that I had 'Cogsworth' on my desk, to be honest I hadn't a clue what she was talking about but now I can see the similarity
Been a shyt week. Truck broke down to the tune of $950..00. Saturday my air conditioner went out in my house. It's been 95* here lately No Buenos. Thank the lord the smartest thing I've ever done when buying my home was a Home Warranty, "new a/c unit $75.00 please" LLD in my wife's car w/ ac waiting for them to finish up.
Back to the SMPc for a few days. This watch never ceases to impress me for sheer readability - with only an unobtrusive date complication and that wonderful dial contrast, it takes only a mere glance to read the time.
It's just a birth mark and makes your watch truly One-of-a-Kind. Outstanding work @Mad Dog . A pflieger for a true-life Flieger! It's soooo cool!
Thanks, sir...kind words! I try to hide the birth mark as much as possible in pics by utilizing various light angles and/or glare...or by just cropping it out. Glare job works... Crop job works...
Changing into leather straps (watch came with rubber straps) for a different look. Top shows strap from JPM (Bulang & Sons supplier) in 21mm x 18mm. Strap below comes from EIEI Watch Straps in 22mm x 20mm.
So...I’ve been dorking around at the public library today...and I came up with this for a logo [see pic #1]...which is based on my little accident at watchmaking school [see pics #2 and #3]. Pic #1 Pic #2 Pic #3
My GMT Master II 16710 has been getting some extended wrist time lately, but inevitably, the wind shifts and so does my watch taste. So.... Back to the Speedy co-axial.
