“Phlieger” ETA 6497-1 for today...and for the record, it’s amazing the appeal a watch can generate when you have sweat equity in it...three days of joy, chaos, additional joy, frustration, more joy, stress and even MORE JOY at the AWCI introduction to watchmaking school where I built this watch [with quite a bit of fantabulous help]...good times! 👍

Every once in awhile she suggests that I might want to help. When that happens I help as much as I can by throwing everything that looks remotely good into the cart. It doesn’t happen again for a long time after that!

Ref 204610 1 in new Combat Straps of Montreal shoes. Wasn’t wearing this much due to awful shiny black strap .. that changes now! Yes ... it looks like Spring is cancelled for this year. That is snow.

How’s this for a logo? A beautiful [and humongous] trench that I skillfully engraved on my ETA 6497-1’s movement while rushing to install a screw [to catch up to my classmates] during the AWCI introduction to watchmaking school. 😁
