New strap for the vintage GS 56. [photo credit: Dr No] [photo and strap credit: Attila Aszodi] This one wasn't actually tailored for the GS, but the odd 19/16 dimensions, colors, stitching and material (shell cordovan) were so well suited that I just had to have it. Art
It's Mad Monday here down under, so some Gerald Genta design is needed: (So mad, the date is incorrect )
Thanks, sir...I posted more detailed pics of my '89 Schwinn Waterford Paramount today on page 33 of the "Beautiful day to ride a bike!" thread... https://omegaforums.net/threads/beautiful-day-to-ride-a-bike.24070/page-33#post-910363. Also, I purchased my '89 Schwinn Waterford Paramount [with Dura-Ace 7400] new in 1989 from a San Diego, CA Schwinn dealer while I was on military active duty. I had the frame restored [re-painted and re-decaled] at Waterford Precision Cycles a few years ago...they also built me a new fork since I had bent the original fork in a crash [I still have the original fork]. I have raced this bike one time...in a Merckx class time trial a few years ago...I didn't finish very well in the time trial but it was fun to race it at least once.
