Seiko 5- Blancpain homage.
Funny story about this watch. I bought the parts for the customizing from Yobokies. Not having worked on watches before, I took it down to a local
"watchmaker". I explained what I wanted, which was to swap out the dials. He looked at me like I was crazy. He promptly pushed the watch back to me and said that it was impossible because the date window was in the wrong place. I explained to him that it made no difference where the window was as long as it was in the path of the date wheel and lined up with stopping point for each day. I assured him this was the case. "no, you are wrong" and he refused to do the swap.
I did the mods myself. Needless to say I have not been back to him.
Scroll back from your post, a bit. Seems Mr. Yobokies is popular today.

An evening with a chunk of Accutron....
Every time I see “Accutron” I think this watch should be a Transformers character.......

That’s a very cool description of the these watches they have always seemed to be from the future if you look a picture of these movements with the transistors and coils and the tuning fork they were so far ahead of time no pun intended I really like to wear them..... and of course they still can be picked up cheaply

One of them is fast. Or slow. Or both. 😉

My Wenger Titanium. Allow a quartz movement here? Yes, I’ve been hard on it.
