I stopped by my local watch repair guy to pick up three watches fresh from his service work this afternoon. This one went on the wrist first. Twin Jets from 1969 on a Breitling mesh bracelet. As a kid I hug out around airports quite a bit. This one one Chrono I saw rather frequently then, and they still float my boat now.
The other two I picked up today besides the Navitimer - and had on my wrist for some of the day- were this Sinn 140/42. I'm very fond of this Lemania 5100 movement for its legibility, despite the day wheel being in German. Last but not least was this Seiko 6106-7119 diver.
If its good enough for Al Shepard on the moon then its good enough for me on a Friday. Happy Speedy Friday each.
This lovely piece. An Omega Genève from 1961 with a cal. 610 movement. Dont mind the horrible crown - an original one is on its way!
