Funny story about this watch. I bought the parts for the customizing from Yobokies. Not having worked on watches before, I took it down to a local
"watchmaker". I explained what I wanted, which was to swap out the dials. He looked at me like I was crazy. He promptly pushed the watch back to me and said that it was impossible because the date window was in the wrong place. I explained to him that it made no difference where the window was as long as it was in the path of the date wheel and lined up with stopping point for each day. I assured him this was the case. "no, you are wrong" and he refused to do the swap.
I did the mods myself. Needless to say I have not been back to him.

·Well, he's partially right - the date numbers won't be upright anywhere except in the original location; if the window was at 9 o'clock then they'd be upside-down. As long as you're ok with them being a little off-kilter, then yes, the window can be wherever you want.
