Well, I was wearing this . . .



. . . yesterday, but switching to something vintage today when I leave the house to run errands and visit the local pool hall for a few hours of practice.

This particular model has to be the best value in a "real" watch, i.e. one that ticks, ever.

Agreed. I love this thing.

Also, the separate hours/minutes rings with their own sets of digits make it so easy to read (I don't know the technical terms, but look at the dial and you can see what I'm talking about - in that pic it's so easy to see that the time is 8:56, no thinking necessary). I'm thinking this is future-kid's first watch, seems like it would be a good way to teach someone how to tell time - plus it's dirt cheap.

A great kids first watch, a great watch for anybody. You have to be a total snob not to "get" this watch...
