Bulova GMT, a rare poor man version from the 1990s of the great Rolex. Works great and I swim with it all the time. I guess Bulova tried to do a "high end" Rolex knock off at the time, hence the nice silver Bulova applied logo, much better than cheap printed dials of many Rolex copies. Perfect beater for the beach!

Ok, well not technically "today", but my excuse is that there was no internet connectivity (and what heaven that was).

In the Galapagos for I week with the trusty Seiko. Never lets you down. The bezel works as a poor man's GMT so I know what time it is back home. Fantastic lava flow

Bertmar was the name that the Canadian jewellery firm People's Credit Jewellers (now People's Jewellers, operated by the Zale Corposation) applied to their private label watch lines. Frank Gerstein, the founder, had two sons in the business by the names of Bertrand and a Marvin. Hence BERTrand MARvin was the name given to the watch lines. Just thought you might like to know.😀
Thanks👍 I did some searching and also found that, the day I bought it. Very little on the brand other than that. Nice to know I am wearing a local watch😀
