10 miles into my ride I realized I was wearing my 3572. Took it off and then finished up a 50 mile ride.

Aw now, dougiedude ... you mean you didn't have the copperhead pose cozily coiled around your arm with his chin resting on your neato blue dive watch?

Hamilton Piping Rock (ca.1988 reissue) with Swiss FHF-138.001 movement. This watch was a tribute to the 31 pieces specially produced and given to the 1928 Wold Champion New York Yankees - aka "Murders Row".

With Hamilton now being a Swatch product, I am interested that this watch uses an FHF movement. This would indicate to me that the "tribute" Piping Rock was introduced before Swatch bought Hamilton, or Swatch now owns FHF as well. Nice watch anyway.

Absolutely Correct. These were reissued before the Swatch acquisition. From another post, "In 1987, Hamilton only had the Khaki, repurposed military, watch available. Hamilton needed a superhero. Hans Scholl, the product development V.P. from Omega came to the rescue. He recruited several senior employees to join his staff. They selected designs from the Hamilton vault, catalogs, and collections. They chose the Piping Rock, Cabot, Emerson, and Wilshire"

Here is a brief write-up on the variations I did on the Hamilton Forum:

Dreffa with Valjoux 7730. Finally grabbed a Valjoux chrono for under $500 (under $450 actually)

No snakes! Please God, no snakes. Just nature. A sweet pink and purple rhododendron and a blue Seiko, thank you very much!

And if I did see @dougiedude copperhead, this would have been my WRUW shot for the day!!

Blue watch Monday and the first day of EMS week. First gift is from our local trauma center. A nice to go container for food/beverage/anything I can think of!
That's one of the nicest looking Seiko's I've ever seen. Love it!

Thank you! Acquired it BNIB from Jomashop for about $150USD shipped. I think I have inspired a few others to jump on the Seiko 5 train recently

@Jking comes to mind. And I know @Garv has one, and @Omega1 has a slightly different version.

SO MUCH BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. You won't regret it if you get one. Those guys^ will agree

Absolutely!! I find that I wear mine much more than I anticipated (have it on now actually). I bought mine from jomashop as well (paid $129 for mine) and it's been a very solid watch and would make a fine addition to any collection. Btw here is a pic of mine:
