I've had this one for several years, but haven't worn it. It has always run well, but the date wasn't operating. Plastic date ring. Common problem with the Omega 1250 (ESA 9162) tuning fork models. I had made a few attempts in the past to find a replacement ring, to have repeatedly met with the same result! Not available. Recently, I was surfing eBay, and lo and behold, a dealer in a Mannheim, Germany, was listing a NOS date ring for sale. I bought it, and this is the result. The watch is on a buffalo hide strap. So today I will wear this one, and my long term tester, my1989 Rolex Date-Just which I serviced in November, 2016. As of today, it is 19 seconds fast since November. It dropped back 3 seconds at the change to MDT in March.
