I have a near match to yours. I believe it was from a series called Academy Award. http://www.mybulova.com/bulova-academy-award-watch From the Vintage Bulova website.
Some times referred to as bow tie. Here is a link. http://www.watchophilia.com/photogallery/bulovas-1950-1959/a1951-academy-award-r/
On the road today. Horrible rain in so Cal, so no Speedmaster today. But this one works okay for the rain.
Nothing in this world better than seeing the DHL guy on your front step with the package you've been patiently waiting for...getting the package inside... Opening up the box and putting on your new watch for the first time. Then taking 150 photos to send to friends and post in WRUW. Especially when it's your first chronograph!! Not leaving my wrist for the foreseeable future!!
I used to own this exact model, it is quite a charming watch and complication. Now looking to add another Bell to the stable, although will probably try a different case shape this time around. Yours looks great!
