Cyma today. Not really bonding with this one as well as I thought I would.

Is the crown original? It would seem to stand out as a generic replacement. Your watch would have a really appealing vintage "presence" with a different crown. Unless of course, that is the proper crown.

I'm fairly certain it is a generic replacement. And the stem is definitely a mm or two too long...

If you have a spare Cyma crown laying around I'll take it off your hands

Additionally there is some dial damage so I was going to experiment with attempting to clean it up @ConElPueblo style when I find the time

Definitely the crown causing your angst. Don't give up on the neato watch.

Beloved (and now vintage) 6309-7049 on Seiko DAL1BP strap for today. @corn18 recognize that cuff?

I have one of those (all patched up and hanging in my office)

Have you considered retiring early?😀

Got a serious offer of 125 000 Skr for it recently. Would be a nice contribution to the retirement-grappa-fund but I decided to hold on to it. Such a nice watch to use. Not in a hurry but very soon it is only 9 years left (to the planned date) - time flies.
