If you're gonna watch Apollo 13, do it with a 105.012. I timed the re-entry correction burn

Rolex 6480 from 1958 or so.

I have to confess few Rolexes make me experience a rush of greed. This Rolex I want. Bad.

Very beautiful.

A Certina DS-2 for me today 😀

This one was a part of an auction lot (well, there were two watches. I guess that's a "lot") and I didn't really think anything of it. After giving it a thorough clean I've come to appreciate its qualities, however. Very sophisticated shock-proofing of the movement and built like a tank! The dial is lovely, too 👍

It's going to be a gift for my cousin who's been talking about getting a vintage watch for years now, and I'm sure he'll love it. Very impressive bit of kit, especially considering how much these go for.

Side note: This is the dirtiest watch I've ever had the pleasure of cleaning... The steel was actually degraded where years of accumulated dead skin cells had allowed sweat to marinate the case... 🤮

Changing it up for dinner

Amazed that it's possible to "change up" from a dual-texture railroad Constellation..!
