All hands centered for easy reading as a period advertisement praised the advanced Mido Multi-CenterChrono. I love the rich dial with quite a few scales on this rather small chronograph (35 mm diameter). The watch is driven by a Mido cal. 1300, based on the famous Valjoux cal. VZ which resembles the later cal. 23. More infos and photos in my dedicated thread. Enjoy, Mick
Now one Dunkin' coffee, two Seiko watches...gee whiz...I just couldn't take it...I had to add little brother SRP777K1 to its big brother 6309-7049...happy Friday [again], OF! Little brother SRP777K1... Big brother 6309-7049...
I can have any strap, so long as it's brown. Don't judge me! (Wearing the Speedy for the foreseeable future, but can't help still loving the Seamaster, though it's had basically zero wrist time with that strap. All straps are from Crown and Buckle - from their Black Label collection.)
A New addition (Illinois New Yorker) -- an upgrade over my previous white example, which I recently sold to a friend as an engagement gift from his fiancee.
Very, very, very cool...I have to keep remembering that Illinois manufactured not only cool railroad grade pocket watches but also cool wrist watches.
So I finally got one of my grail watches on Monday ( I actually grabbed 2 but that's another story) and began wearing it today. It's incredible. Everything I'd hoped for...
