I'll have some Omega shots since I can finally wear it after I get some links out today! But for now I'm still in this beauty.
...tried to set the date correctly. 1st: forgot that the month-name switches while turning the hand-date. 2nd: thought "Thank God it´s Friday"...
Buyer went dark on me Sunday. No return call or email. Going to wear it today and rethink if I really want to sell.
Trying to wear this finicky little beauty, Illinois Blackstone, but it's having a little trouble deciding to run smoothly this morning...
Your Connie looks almost identical to the one seen on Ryan Gosling (on his 'right' wrist, too, btw ) in the most excellent recently released movie, 'La La Land'. Only visible difference is, we didn't see 'Constellation' on it... https://omegaforums.net/threads/vintage-omega-in-la-la-land.51031/
What are the odds ??? Opaline already back at base with a date change issue, pulled out the Master for an evening run and date change is locked, although not the same problem a bit disappointing Globemaster it is,
Just received my first Omega, a 1963 Seamaster that I purchased here from Guilty Boomerang. Put it on and I feel awesome! Love this community and all my new friends here. The only thing now is to try to restrain myself from another purchase....moderation is just so damn difficult for me!!
Mine is an 18k 2652 from 52/53, that, unfortunately, my father had redialed at some point. I am still hoping that we find an Omega file that has all of its service records. Was the conclusion that the La La Land watch is not a Constellation? The enhanced photo on the second page showed long, pointy hour markers.
