In It's a Wonderful Life, Vi says something like this. "Oh! This old thing? I only wear it when I haven't got anything else to wear!" This, as she flounces down the street after a chorus of whistles, and a compliment on the dress she was wearing. I think that's the movie you have in mind.

Not to be a stickler (or, rather, to clarify), but... "Oh, this old thing? Why, I only wear it when I don't care how I look." Not that I am a fan of the movie or anything.
my all-original Speedy! unpolished case, untouched and original dial, correct crown, pushers, hands and bezel, undisputed original condition...this one remains complete as it left Omega's production line... TGIT! .
Good morning! This one from before wristwatches were 'cool': 1910 Silver case, enamel dial, custom Horween @jankoxxx !
Newest member of the antimagnetic brigade - treading lightly on the border between damaged and patinated, I really like this one! The 35mm size makes it a bit bigger than the other old Tissots I have, but I would love to have a better matching crown for it - if anyone can help out, I'd be happy to hear from you
The indices are quite white for a watch of that era, but I'd love to have the bezel. Compared to this bezel, the DONs are dime a dozen.
