Ha! Stitching can match... If you have a dark blue wash jean stitching typically tends to be tan colour anyway so it's an effortless match :D

I've noticed your attention to shirt detail already, don't pull the wool over my eyes mr! ;)

Alas, not as much as I probably should... I fear I may be caught out by one of my reflections at any moment... This is my excuse for steering clear of the grand luxe! :)

Hey, I didn't even know what jacquard was - much less how to spell it - until I joined this forum (thanks Warren).

The first offering from Watch Super Sunday.

IMO the pick of the Elite range - the Chronomaster from 2000. As usual artificial lighting and rose gold don't go together.

While we're on the manly topic of footwear... :D

For me its Allen Edmonds or bust. Here are the brogue'd cap toes I'm wearing to the office today. Forgive the fancy socks, they were a gift. :D

They pair up quite nicely with:

I'm an AE man too. I've had a longer relationship with a pair of Maxwells than with the last two women I've dated (and I've been with my fiancée Windy for over 6 years). Recently got a pair of Aldens and like them now that they're broken in. They're a little stiffer and heavier than the average AE set though, and take several months to loosen up.

She's already got the rock, and we're looking at Maui at the end of next year. No firm date yet though.

    Dennis,
Go Feb- Mar you will have humpbacks out the wazoo, sail America #2 at the port for an amazing 1/2 day (wear the AT), buy weed at the park in the center of La'haina town, the dude sits on a bench with about 2 lbs. (wear the Seiko), rent a Jeep and take the road to Hana (wear the new Benrus), eat dinner at Roy's (Ka'anapali) and order the chocolate volcano souffle' (wear your best!). Skip everything organized and/or advertised. If you play golf, play Kapalua, Plantation course, if you snorkel try the north coast or Black Rock at Ka'anapali.
For all else, refer to the Kama Sutra.

You forgot the bike (bicycle) ride down the volcano.
I did it about 15 years ago with Cruiser Bob on a clapped out ladies bike with a single coaster brake
I was the first one to the bottom and I reckon the adrenalin was still pumping through my system the next day.
Wasn't as memorable as whale watching though:thumbsup:

The humpback whales breeching a few yards away, the rythmic blows every 3-5 minutes. Their eyes looking at you with recognition. The whales are the most spectacular thing I have seen on this earth.

    What travels down under, Jim?

I found that the AE #7 last fits my foot perfectly, and that's all I've bought since. I now have 5 pairs and counting. Tried some shell cordovan Aldens but the leather is too stiff like you said, which is a shame as the finish on the leather is tremendous.

It does say something when a pair of shoes outlasts your relationships with women. But then again, I've had these Sanfords for 6 months and I could say the same thing myself, haha!
