    Same here... a vintage milgauss would at least be one less principle broken though. If only I had that kind of money...

    Well... the old ones aren't green! And at least a watch like this doesn't violate my principle of avoiding pieces that will depreciate catastrophically as soon as I leave the store. Rolex has that much going for it... unless you are one of the people who bought this model at a big mark-up (as a purported limited edition) during the initial frenzy.

    Oh crap, do I have to start rolling my jean bottoms up again, as I did in the early '90s? And must the stitching match the shoe leather? You know I take all my fashion cues from the European watch nerds on this forum and you show me this? :facepalm:
