PO with a new leather strap I just acquired recently.
When it comes to leather straps for a thick/tall watch, I prefer "curved end" straps to "straight end" ones. But aftermarket curved end leather straps are not as readily available as their straight end cousins... This particular strap is an inexpensive generic brand, but it fits my PO just fine. It doesn't look bad, either, since I replaced the plain looking original buckle with a genuine Omega buckle.

Some may say that a dive watch like the PO on an untreated leather strap is not "functionally correct". Well, the combination works okay for a desk-diver like me. 😉

The helium escape valve comes in handy for the deep dives like when you drop your pen and have to crawl under the desk to get it. Just half a turn to release the pressure when you get back to your chair and you're ready.

Now I know the proper use for the helium escape valve when desk-diving! 😁

I sometimes release the He in my PO and suck it in so I sound funny when my CFO walks in to ask a serious financial question. Good times.

A hot Friday afternoon, the Australian cricket team has dominated Day 4 of the Sydney test, and the Watchco SM300 is on the 1170/633 for a change of pace ...
