Still this anonymous 60-year old artifact discovered, hidden in a junk watch drawer, after a 40+ year repose. After several small repairs and conditioning, it has lost 21 seconds in six days! My Rolexes, Omegas, and everything else are just sitting.........waiting!

Please join me in celebrating 50 years since the very first airing of the first Star Trek episode on broadcast TV. September 8th, 1966.

A co-worker dug these out and asked if I could get them going again. Luckily, the batts had not leaked and they started right up with new ones. My only payment?...permission to let me post here, of course! 😁

The pusher at 2:00 on this one causes the Star Trek opening theme to play! Darn thing has 3 batteries because of this. I didn't see the 3rd one at first, and had to make a second run to the store...

Note how the Starship Enterprise furturistically floats above the dial as the running second hand. Live long and prosper!

Those are pretty cool!
