Good afternoon just going out for lunch...

This piece is really speaking to me recently. I love the idea of a beautiful, understated modern watch that has some of the vintage charm. The dash of somewhat muted colour is great as well.

How much wrist time does this get for you relative to other pieces in the rotation? Are you happy with the red vs black or blue bezel?

So my second daughter was born this morning 馃榾 For the occasion I wore my grandfathers and fathers watch. But should have worn my Speedy, since my wife made me time her contractions for hours 馃榾

I am now seriously outnumbered

Big congrats!!! Experiencing the true meaning of life!

Our daughter is now 11 and a half, and looking back I realize I didn't appreciate just how much she'd change our lives for the better!

Wishing you and everyone in your family all the best with this precious new addition!

Fabulous watch, but what is it with the wierd crossed 7 in the minute recorder dial -- my Dato-Compax has it too, but none of the other sevens on the dial have it, and I haven't seen it on any other watch I can remember. I was told once that schoolchildren on the European continent were taught to write "1" with a hooked top, so they needed to cross the seven to differentiate it, but on a watch?
