I'm curious how an airplane got to be known as 'the mighty guppy'.

Now that the chores are done, and the deck has had its annual re-sealing, its time for the AT.

Guppy for the approximate shape of the fuselage, especially toward the front. Mighty is more of a tongue-in-cheek adjective than a truthful description.

    Wearing a Flightmaster . . .

    home_image.4734313.jpg

. . . this Memorial Day. The original owner is a Vet who served a tour of duty during the Vietnam War.

Most pleased to finally own a 910; the circumstances of its origins make it all the more valuable to me as an Omega collector.

Day off. Chilling on the patio with a good book, some nice tobacco, tea, and a new friend.

I had to put this one on today, because its original owner, George E. Amos, a now deceased neighbor, served honorably in the U.S. Army, 65th Division, under General Patton. He was a medic all through Germany during the WWII.
