Vixa Type 20, issued to the French Air Forces circa 1954. I've read that these Vixa are sometimes considered the least durable of the Type 20-21, perhaps due in part to the lack of shock protection on the German-made Hanhart caliber 40 movment. This example certainly makes a lie of that belief, with fin de garantie marks showing it was in service for nearly three decades before retirement. And still going strong today, after three decades more.
