·worked on one of the bikes this morning. steering head bearings on a scooter, adjust and lube..... really, how hard can it be?
worse than replacing the cams on the Kawasaki Ninja it seems!
half way through the job I realize I've still got the Elgin on..... dammit!
the big lump in the middle? (looks like a wiper motor)...... servo motor and CPU controlled hydraulic valves to control the front suspension
seriously, what the hell were they thinking!!!
my son, a trained mechanic, was horrified. He said he'd seen nothing that crazy under anything he'd worked on.
