Rainy day in the UK. I will keep the Seamaster away from the rain, it has retired from waterproof duties now.

Speedmaster X33 in the market place in Bourg.
The wind is gusting to 90 kilometres per hour so the ship can't sail until it dies down.
But all is OK, the crew just finished a re-stocking of essentials so we can survive on beer, wine, good food etc 馃榿

This week I'm caring for my early Heuer Autavias.

20150916_000067.jpg

Today I*m wearing an Autavia ref. 7763, later execution (1970). The virtually unpolished snap back case houses a Valjoux cal. 7730.

I love how the tiny red index marks stand out only at a closer look, and then correspond to the very dominant red chrono seconds hand.

Cheers,

Mick

Received this one back from the watchmaker today, 145.017 cal 860 with a grey dial. This one was a long time in the making, excited to finally have it on my wrist [emoji3] 40b520a0d37a67647f9901c7d5d8577d.jpg 3035c67580827ac66596482b2e599a34.jpg
