路This week I'm caring for my early Heuer Autavias.
Today I*m wearing an Autavia ref. 7763, later execution (1970). The virtually unpolished snap back case houses a Valjoux cal. 7730.
I love how the tiny red index marks stand out only at a closer look, and then correspond to the very dominant red chrono seconds hand.

I just wished it really looked this good on my wrist when I'm looking at it and not the "big screen" image..... I think its time to buy some glasses.
I walked away from a nice '40s Tudor Oyster last week because I couldn't read the damn face without my reading specs on...... aging sucks
