From about 1983, found in a World War II vintage .50 ammo box full of cartridge reloading tools and other junk given to me by a relative. He didn't want the watch returned. Later discovered an 18kt green gold case on this one. Haven't worn it in a couple years. Fired it up today to see what kind of time it is keeping.
Spied this curious mushroom growing out of an old holly tree in the backyard.
Picked up this dark brown alligator strap after reading @bradurani's highly amusing and informative thread on straps. I'm attending a wedding this weekend and while the Dong Feng is still my "dressiest" watch, I'm just now appreciating how sporty and aggressive the lug shapes really are - I don't think the alligator is really a good fit after all. If anyone has suggestions for a more suitable strap or bracelet for this watch, I'd love to hear them!
